Abituriates after the math exam: some “shone with their head”, others are already considering that 10 additional points would be useful

Abiturates completed the second part of the mathematics examination on Friday. This assessment follows a first component administered eighteen months prior during the eleventh grade. According to the National Education Agency (NEA), participation in the second part of the math exam varied by course track.

Specifically, 14,400 students opted for the extended (A) course, while 8,900 students took the second part under the general (B) course. It was noted that some candidates proceeded with the assessment even after achieving scores deemed sufficient for passing the overall exam. Performance metrics from the initial segment of the exam showed different trends between the two tracks.

In the A course, 59.3% of students scored 25 points or higher, whereas in the B course, that percentage stood at 23.3%. The structure of the second part of the math exam consisted of 17 to 20 questions in total. These questions were divided into two formats: ten requiring short answers and seven to ten requiring full solutions.

Following the conclusion of the final exam, students offered varied accounts of their experience. The second part of the assessment represented a significant measure of the overall academic requirement for the graduating class.
