Juodkienė characterized the resulting situation as catastrophic, noting that the volume of necessary repairs significantly exceeds the impact seen during previous severe weather events. She reported that the number of required disruptions is particularly high, reaching approximately 3,000 instances.
Juodkienė highlighted that the damage sustained following the recent storm was extensive across multiple regions. The areas most severely impacted include Utena, where roughly 54,000 customers are without power, and the Panevėžys region, affecting about 33,000 customers. Furthermore, the Vilnius district and surrounding areas reported losses for approximately 30,000 customers, while the Alytus region saw 18,000 affected, and Šiauliai reported 14,000 customers without electricity.
In contrast, Juodkienė noted that the Klaipėda region experienced the least damage and impact from this specific storm, affecting an estimated 13,000 customers. The detailed figures underscore the widespread and significant disruption to regional power supply infrastructure.
