After a stormy day – a message from the service: three tornadoes were recorded, it is reported where it rained most intensely

Weather conditions were volatile over the past days, featuring periods of rain, thunder, and strong winds. During the thunderstorm activity, wind gusts were recorded reaching up to 15–16 m/s, and instances of hail were observed. Furthermore, three tornadoes were preliminarily documented.

Temperatures ranged between a low of 12–17 degrees and a high of 21–25 degrees. The night was restless, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms reported in some areas. Regarding precipitation, the period from Friday morning to Saturday morning saw the most significant rainfall.

In several locations, it rained heavily, indicating a notable pattern of moisture. Specific measurements show that Pakruojis received 38.5 mm (accounting for up to ~62% of the June norm), while Kaunas recorded 36.9 mm (up to ~58% of the monthly norm). Other areas impacted included Kalvarija (35.4 mm, up to ~47%), Šiauliai (28.8 mm, up to ~44%), and Kazlų Rūda (28 mm, up to ~40%).

These localized rainfall totals suggest that the starch season has commenced in some parts of the country, though the start of the season in the Elektrėnų sea remains challenging. The varied weather patterns, including the intense downpours, contribute to the current agricultural outlook.
