The lawyer emphasized that even if the criminal act was directly committed by a minor, those who contributed to the crime remain legally liable. He stated, “it doesn’t matter that the criminal act is carried out directly by the minor perpetrator, but the persons who contribute to the crime are, by law, subject to criminal responsibility.”

The mother of the girl who was attacked in Marijampolė publicly stated, “I won’t let this happen.” Similarly, Faustas Marija Leščiauskaitė expressed outrage regarding the Marijampolė incident, asserting, “I won’t let it happen.” M. Sinkevičius also commented on the attack in Marijampolė, suggesting that such events cannot be excused.
