After warm days – changes: the weather forecaster announced what the cyclone will bring

Weather forecasts indicate variable conditions across the coming days. On Thursday, June 4th, light rain is anticipated during the night hours in the southern and southeastern districts. However, heavier rain is forecast for the western and southwestern districts by the afternoon.

Wind speeds are expected to be from the southwest at 5–10 m/s overnight, increasing to 7–12 m/s during the day. Temperatures are projected to range from 9–13°C at night, with the eastern districts experiencing the lowest temperatures, while the western outskirts will be the warmest. Daytime highs are expected between 20–24°C.

Friday, June 5th, will bring persistent rain, with intervals of heavy rain predicted from the night through the afternoon. Thunderstorms are also expected during the day. Winds will shift, originating from the southwest at 6–11 m/s overnight, and from the northeastern coast and northwestern coast at 7–12 m/s during the day.

During thunderstorm activity, wind gusts could reach up to 15 m/s in localized areas. Overnight temperatures are forecast at 14–16°C, rising to 22–26°C during the day, with the east recording 19–21°C. Saturday, June 6th, is expected to feature heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

This system is predicted to move across Lithuania, advancing from the west and southwest toward the east.
