According to presidential statements, Lithuania pledges continued support for Ukraine until its victory over aggression, alongside significant investment in the nation’s reconstruction efforts and support for its integration into the European Union.
The President intends to use the gathering to encourage all participating nations to join these stated commitments. In addition to the reconstruction focus, President Nausėda will participate in an Eastern flanks leaders’ meeting. At this session, discussions are set to center on bolstering security across the eastern frontiers of both NATO and the European Union, as well as preparations for the forthcoming NATO summit in Ankara.
The primary event, the Ukrainian reconstruction conference (URC 2026), is slated to take place in Gdansk on June 25th and 26th.
