DHL buys Venipak: they answered whether they will change the name and what will happen to the employees (1)

Following regulatory approval, Venipak is set to become part of DHL eCommerce, a subsidiary of the DHL group. This strategic move involves integrating Venipak’s established local infrastructure into the global logistics network operated by DHL. DHL will acquire 100% of Venipak’s shares, which were previously held by Neris Raudonis.

Following the sale, Mr. Raudonis plans to redirect his focus toward developing the investment platform “Stokex” and global asset management ventures. For DHL, the acquisition significantly strengthens its operational presence and market position within the Baltic region.

Venipak is recognized as one of the largest independent logistics companies operating across the Baltic States. The company currently manages approximately 800 post-boxes and maintains an extensive network of pickup points, offering comprehensive parcel delivery services to both corporate clients and private consumers. The integration of Venipak’s well-developed local infrastructure into the DHL network is expected to enhance the overall service capabilities of the combined entity.

This transaction positions DHL to offer a more robust and comprehensive logistics solution across the region. Separately, the announcement also touches upon broader economic concerns, specifically noting the recent data release regarding European inflation. This prompts questions regarding localized inflation rates, such as those observed in Lithuania, and the potential impact on consumer costs, particularly for food items in the coming autumn.
