Among the primary attractions for visitors are the various species of orchids that bloom in the area.
These include the broad-leaved, Baltic, yellow, and red varieties. Locating these flowers requires minimal effort, as they can be observed via a 400-meter nature trail that traverses a valuable wetland and meadow complex. Aistė Balevičiūtė noted that the current abundance of rare orchids reflects the success of long-term, consistent conservation work.
She stated that the high diversity of plant species suggests favorable habitat conditions and a stable hydrological regime within the nature preserve. The protected status ensures that the area continues to support a rich biodiversity, making it a valuable natural asset.
