The impact of the tremors was widely felt. Notably, one subsequent event measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale was felt in Naples and surrounding metropolitan areas early Saturday morning. The INGV confirmed that the shaking was not limited to Naples but was also registered on the island of Ischia and the Sorento peninsula.
