ESO compensation should arrive today: what determines the amount

„We estimate that, according to this morning’s figures, around 1,200 customers are without electricity. Of these, around a quarter are unoccupied properties,“ ESO spokesperson Rasa Juodkienė told LRT Radio on Monday. According to her, 99.5 per cent of the electricity supply has now been restored, and work is continuing at this very moment.

„This figure is steadily decreasing every day. The areas are marshy, and the network has been destroyed, so the situation is not straightforward,“ noted the ESO spokesperson. Last week, ESO increased compensation payments to residents for direct losses suffered following the storm that ravaged Lithuania.
