Four cars ran off the road into the ditches in the Klaipėda, Širvintos, Molėtų and Zarasų districts

The Department of Fire Protection and Rescue (PAGD) reported multiple traffic incidents across different locations. Early in the morning, at 9:16 a.m., the PAGD received a report concerning a BMW X3 car that had driven off the A1 highway in the Vėžaičiai village, located in the Klaipėda district. Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle submerged in a ditch.

A woman was found unsecured inside the car and was subsequently extricated by emergency personnel through the vehicle’s roof before being transported to the hospital. The car’s battery was disconnected at the scene. Separate footage documented an incident where an 18-year-old girl operating an electric motorcycle collided with a small truck.

Later, at 11:33 a.m., the PAGD was alerted to another incident in the Pažydė village within the Širvintos district. Initially, a car was reported to have driven off the road. Additionally, a semi-trailer truck with a half-trailer was also found to have left the road and overturned in a ditch.

Firefighters successfully extricated a man from the overturned truck.
