The Minister stressed that applying sooner allows families to secure necessary financial support and purchase essential learning materials with greater ease and reduced stress. “Many parents are currently focused on preparing for the new school year and acquiring necessary supplies,” stated Minister Zailskienė.
“To simplify this process and alleviate stress, it is advisable to apply for support now. Furthermore, there is no reason to wait until September to apply for free meals, ensuring that every child receives this benefit from the beginning of the school term.”
The guidance is aimed at ensuring continuity of support for every child. Families are encouraged to consult the relevant guidelines immediately, rather than postponing necessary documentation until the academic year commences.
