Ruginienė added that robust international cooperation is required to ensure the full accountability of Russia and its accomplice, Belarus, for acts of aggression, war crimes, and the unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children. Regarding institutional support, the Prime Minister confirmed that Lithuania supports the establishment of a special tribunal dedicated to investigating crimes committed by Russia.
Additionally, she noted Lithuania’s commitment to supporting the use of frozen Russian assets. These funds are intended to support the defense and subsequent reconstruction efforts within Ukraine.
