According to reports from the Police Department, an incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, near the Kalvarija area, at approximately 7:16 p.m. The situation involved two individuals who required medical attention. One male subject, who was born in 1974, was found to be intoxicated, testing at a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.81.
This individual was transported to the Marijampolė hospital where he was admitted due to sustaining injuries. Separately, a woman, who was born in 1969, was taken into custody at the police station. This woman also tested positive for intoxication, with a recorded BAC of 2.71.
Following the events, preliminary investigations were initiated to address the non-serious health impairment related to the incident. Authorities confirmed that the necessary medical and legal procedures were followed at the scene, which was located in the vicinity of the Kalvarija facility. The police department has established the preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the individuals’ condition and subsequent care.
