Reports of various thefts and property crimes were recorded across several Lithuanian districts over the past few days. On Thursday morning, at 7:10 AM, a 2021 Toyota RAV4 was reported as stolen from the Domeikava village in the Kaunas district, with the reported loss valued at 29,000 euros. Separately, an earlier incident in Panevėžys involved the theft of a Volkswagen Golf from an enterprise, amounting to a loss of 1,000 euros.
In connection with this Panevėžys theft, a man born in 1971 was arrested as a suspect. Other incidents of property loss were reported across the region. A motorcycle, a “Victory Octane” belonging to an individual born in 1997, was reported stolen from a multi-apartment building in Šiauliai between June 18 and June 25, valued at 6,000 euros.
Further thefts occurred in Klaipėda on Friday, where a “Victory Octane” motorcycle was stolen from a residence on Main Street during multiple incidents throughout the day and night, each valued at 6,000 euros. In separate developments, police were alerted to a young Lithuanian who was found in Poland hiding in a forest with a stolen Lexus vehicle. Overall, authorities have addressed multiple cases
