In mysterious circumstances, a man who went to Latvia by motorcycle from Ignalina on a weekend disappeared

Relatives have contacted authorities regarding the disappearance of Ramūnas Maniušis. According to reports, Mr. Maniušis, born on May 12, 1978, was last seen on June 12, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM.

He left the area of Ignalina, and his last known direction of travel was toward the Lithuanian-Latvian border, with his intended destination being Jūrmala, passing through the general vicinity of Daugavpils. Authorities are seeking information regarding the man who disappeared. A search effort was reportedly challenging.

Maniušis was last seen wearing a dark grey motorcycle jacket, dark grey trousers, and a black helmet. He was traveling on a KTM 1190 Adventure motorcycle, a 2014 model, identifiable by its black and orange coloring and license plate number 021 KR. The public is urged to provide any information concerning his whereabouts.
