Police authorities have issued several reports regarding recent incidents involving stolen vehicles across different regions. In Rokiškis, on June 20, at 10:22 a.m., a man, born in 1980, reported that his locked “Volkswagen Caddy” had been stolen from the yard of his residence. Later that day, at 11:20 a.m., the vehicle was recovered on the Rokiškis-Juodupė-Onuškis-Ilzenberg road, located 6.35 km from the main road.
Following the theft, a drunken man, who tested positive at 1.86 promil, was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. Separately, police reported another theft in Klaipėda. Thieves reportedly broke into the rectory belonging to the Panevėžys district priest, where a “Mercedes Benz” was stolen, and considerable damage was also noted at the scene.
