In the Democratic Republic of Congo, 600 people died in the Ebola outbreak

These statistics also account for 600 confirmed deaths, resulting in a reported mortality rate of 34 percent within the country.

In Uganda, 20 confirmed cases have been recorded, leading to 17 documented recoveries, and two additional fatalities have been reported. Within the Democratic Republic of Congo, the total number of individuals who have recovered from Ebola stands at 285, while an additional 304 patients are currently undergoing investigation.
