In the Raseiniai district, a farmhouse caught fire, destroying a tractor, a lawn mower, two bicycles, and a sewing machine

A significant fire was reported at 15:58 in the Gabšių village, located on Eglynės street within the Raseiniai district. Upon arrival at the scene, responding firefighters observed that the structure was engulfed in open flames, and the roof had already collapsed. The blaze progressed rapidly, consuming the building down to its foundations.

The intensity of the fire resulted in substantial material loss. Among the items destroyed were a “Belarus” tractor, a “Makulat” lawn mower, three bicycles, a set of winter tires, a woodworking machine, a water pump, a freezer, a timer, and firewood. The fire’s impact extended beyond the primary structure.

An auxiliary building situated approximately one meter from the main site also sustained damage and burned. Furthermore, the flames reached an attached residential house located ten meters away. The heat from the fire melted the main door of the residence, and six windows were shattered.

Fire services responded to the incident in the Raseiniai district, managing the blaze until it was contained. The incident highlighted the significant destructive power of the fire, causing extensive damage across multiple properties in the area. Authorities continue to assess the full scope of the damage caused by the fire in this section of the district.
