In Vilnius, vandals destroyed two cars

Preliminary investigations have been launched by the police following reports of property damage across several locations in Vilnius on August 29th. The first reported incident occurred in the afternoon on Smolenska g. In this instance, a 2014 Mercedes Benz vehicle sustained damage when its trunk window glass was smashed.

The estimated financial loss associated with this vandalism was reported to be 1,000 euros. Later that day, at approximately 6:30 PM, a second incident took place on Mokyklos gatvėje. The damage reported at this location was more extensive.

It included damage to a house door handle and its mechanism, as well as vandalism affecting a VW vehicle. Additionally, structural damage was noted, involving a bent roof and door frame detail. The total estimated loss for this second incident was approximately 1,450 euros.

In response to these reports of vandalism affecting both private property and vehicles, the local police have initiated a preliminary investigation. Authorities are treating the incidents seriously, gathering details concerning the damaged cars and structures. The police are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the property damage reported across the different areas of Vilnius.
