Israel continues its attacks in Lebanon

The area of Ali al-Tahero, situated at an elevation of approximately 600 meters, is recognized as a strategically significant location offering extensive views across a large portion of the region. This location is noted for its importance to the operations of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group and remains a persistent flashpoint of conflict with Israel. Hezbollah sources have publicly stated that the organization will not relinquish control of the Ali al-Tahero area to any other party.

Furthermore, reports suggest the presence of an underground tunnel network associated with the group within the site. Hezbollah’s involvement has drawn Lebanon into the broader conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran, which escalated near the end of February. This involvement was marked by the group launching rockets into Israel shortly after the conflict’s commencement.

In response, Israel conducted strikes and a ground operation that resulted in the deaths of over 4,000 Lebanese civilians. Although a ceasefire has been established, Israel reportedly maintains a military presence in southern Lebanon and continues to conduct daily attacks.
