Recent weather reports indicate that the past several days have been characterized by cool temperatures and significant precipitation across the region. In various locations, heavy rainfall was recorded, with some areas exceeding the established june rainfall norms. The period between June 13th at 9 a.m.

and June 17th at 9 a.m. saw the highest accumulation rates. Specifically, Rokiškis registered 63.2 mm of rain during this time, equating to 93% of the expected june norm.

Skuodas reported a particularly high volume, recording 58.1 mm of rain over a four-hour period, which represented 116% of the june average. Other areas also experienced substantial downpours. Laukuva recorded 53.2 mm, while Plungė and Jonava each measured 45.1 mm.

Šiauliai also reported significant rainfall totals of 43.3 mm. Looking ahead, weather forecasts predict that the pattern of rain is expected to continue. Furthermore, residents should anticipate periods where wind activity is anticipated across parts of the country.

Authorities are advising the public to remain aware of potential weather fluctuations as the wet conditions persist.
