According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the Minister, K. Budrys, has a scheduled series of diplomatic engagements beginning in Thailand. In Thailand, the Minister is slated to meet with the Prime Minister of Thailand, alongside key ministers from the fields of Foreign Affairs, Digitalization, and Energy.
Additionally, K. Budrys will engage with the Thai Lithuanian community. Following discussions concerning cooperation within Thailand, the itinerary continues to Vietnam on Tuesday.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, the focus of the engagements in Vietnam will be high-level discussions centered on economic and energy cooperation. The Minister plans to meet with the heads of the Vietnamese government and leaders from the nation’s largest state-owned energy sectors, specifically encompassing oil and gas, and electricity groups. The MFA has indicated that the central theme uniting both the visits to Thailand and Vietnam is the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the energy and economic sectors.
These planned meetings underscore a commitment to deepening strategic partnerships across multiple critical industries.
