Kratos – all over Lithuania: it seems that “Jozita” has earned itself well. She found a large sum of cash (2)

On June 16, 2026, preliminary investigation actions were conducted across Lithuania. The operation encompassed multiple locations, including gas stations operated by UAB “Jozita” and other sites relevant to the ongoing investigation. A total of 32 searches were simultaneously executed throughout Lithuania.

During these procedures, investigators recovered approximately 100,000 euros in cash that was potentially unaccounted for; some of this cash was discovered stored in boxes. Furthermore, authorities seized various materials pertinent to the investigation, including computers, video recordings, and other documentary evidence. The operation involved a significant contingent of personnel.

Participating were 88 police officers from various districts across Lithuania, alongside 30 employees from the State Tax Inspectorate and two representatives from the State Labor Inspectorate. The primary focus of the procedural actions was the collection of data related to potential tax evasion. Following the comprehensive investigation, suspicion has been directed toward three individuals.

After undergoing formal interrogations, these three suspects were assigned restraining measures, which included submitting written statements. The coordinated effort across all sectors underscores the scope of the current inquiry into financial irregularities within Lithuania.

  1. I wonder what the investigation is actually looking for if they are searching multiple locations like this.
