Lithuania and Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding on the creation of the BRAVE Lithuania program

A joint initiative has been announced aiming to significantly strengthen cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine within the sphere of defence innovation. The primary objectives of this agreement are to foster the development of advanced technologies, promote mutual technological advancement, and accelerate the practical integration of these innovations into the defense requirements of both nations. According to the Ministry of National Defence, the formal document was signed during the second NATO-Ukraine Defence Innovation Forum, held in Vilnius.

The signing ceremony involved Deputy Minister of National Defence from Lithuania, Vitalija Zumerienė, and the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defence, Serhiy Boev. The commitment established by both nations confirms a mutual readiness to collaborate on bolstering defence innovation efforts. This cooperation is expected to enhance existing technological solutions and substantially strengthen the overall defence capabilities of both Lithuania and Ukraine.

The agreement formalizes a deepened partnership in the defense sector. Officials noted that this collaborative framework represents a significant progression in the bilateral relationship.
