Multiple incidents involving property damage were reported across various locations in Palanga on a single morning. Authorities responded to reports detailing vandalism and theft occurring throughout the early hours. The first reported incident took place at 3:55 a.m.
at the intersection of S. Daukanto and J. Simpsono streets.
A young man, born in 2007, reported that an unknown individual approached a parked VW Golf and struck the vehicle multiple times, resulting in significant damage to the windshield. The estimated cost of the damage to the car was reported to be 800 euros, and a case has been opened regarding the destruction of property. Shortly thereafter, at 4:07 a.m., further incidents were recorded in Palanga on Plytų street.
At this location, a shop window was smashed, and multiple alcohol bottles were reported stolen and damaged inside the premises. A formal theft investigation has been initiated concerning this site. The pattern of incidents continued into the morning.
At 8:29 a.m., two commercial tents situated on Vytauto street sustained damage. From one tent, ten linen shawls were stolen, while the second tent reported the theft of car odor kits. Additionally, an advertising stand at the site was also found damaged.
