On June 12th, at approximately 10:00 PM, vandalism occurred in a parking lot located on J. Basanavičiaus g. in Panevėžys.
During the incident, four side windows belonging to a Chrysler Grand Voyager car were broken, in addition to damage inflicted on the glass of a public bus stop pavilion. Authorities subsequently apprehended several juveniles, identified as individuals born in 2008 and 2009, who are suspected of committing the vandalism at the lot. Following their arrest, a pre-trial investigation was initiated against the suspects under Article 284 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
The investigation pertains to the property damage that occurred at the location. The authorities are currently proceeding with the formal legal procedures concerning the incident involving the damaged vehicle and public infrastructure.
