R. Duchnevičius: I wouldn’t see any problem if M. Sinkevičius became the Prime Minister

Speaking to journalists following a Social Democrats council meeting on Saturday, R. Duchnevičius stated that the party views the work of the current Prime Minister, M. Sinkevičius, as satisfactory.

He affirmed that he foresees no issue with her continuing in the role of prime minister. Duchnevičius emphasized that the party’s immediate focus is on observing how the entire government structure will coalesce. He noted that the discussion regarding the prime minister’s position will occur after the full government composition is finalized, reiterating, “For now, our Prime Minister is working, we trust her and she continues her work.”
