Russian drones disrupted Ukrainian football: 2 people injured, matches postponed

The governor of the Odessa region, Olehas Kiper, reported that the “Chernomorec” stadium sustained heavy damage following an attack involving russian drones. During the incident, one 29-year-old woman was injured. Later, around 8:00 PM, it was further reported that a second individual, a 31-year-old man, was also injured.

According to O. Kiper, the man’s condition was assessed as moderate, and he has since been hospitalized. The drone strike caused severe structural damage to the stadium’s roof, leaving a significant opening.

A top-level Ukrainian league match between the local team, “Chernomorec,” and Kovalivka’s “Kolos,” was scheduled to take place at the venue today. However, due to the damage sustained from the russian drones, the match has been postponed indefinitely.
