The SBA Furniture Group, which previously consisted of five furniture manufacturing companies, a logistics center, a management company, and a robotics business, is undergoing structural adjustments. Following these changes, Kauno Baldai, the group’s sole upholstered furniture manufacturer, will transition to operate under the direct management of the overarching SBA Group. Jolanta Grašienė, Vice-President and Member of the Board, stated that these decisions aim to establish the clearest and most efficient structure for each entity within the group.
She explained that Kauno Baldai operates under a distinct business model compared to the other companies within the SBA Furniture Group. According to Grašienė, aligning the management structure closely with the specific operational needs of upholstered furniture manufacturers is crucial. This realignment, she noted, is intended to enable the company to achieve its strategic objectives more effectively.
The reorganization suggests a strategic focus on optimizing management oversight to better support the specialized requirements of upholstered furniture production within the broader SBA structure. This move clarifies reporting lines and operational governance across the various components of the furniture sector under the SBA umbrella.
