Social media activist G. Liutkevičius arrested in Vilnius – posted video on the street showing him spitting on three men

The Vilnius County Police Information Office reported an incident that occurred on July 5th, around 11:00 PM. The police responded to an event involving a man, born in 1972, who posted a highly inflammatory video to Facebook. According to the report, the content of the video featured the individual publicly mocking, inciting hatred, and discriminating against a group of people based on factors including nationality, language, origin, and religion.

The video documented the man approaching three men in a public area, where he reportedly spat on them and actively encouraged bystanders to replicate the action. Following the publication of this scandalous video, police officers visited the man. Consequently, the individual was taken into custody and subsequently arrested, being transported to a detention center.

The police confirmed that the person taken into custody is identified as social network activist Graf Liutkeviči. The incident underscores a breach of public order and anti-discrimination guidelines within the Vilnius community. Authorities acted swiftly after the video surfaced, leading to the arrest.

The police statement confirms that the investigation is ongoing regarding the content and dissemination of the material captured in the video.
