Authorities confirmed that several bodies were found across the Šiauliai district and the city itself. Specific incidents detailed by the police included the discovery of two bodies in Raseiniai.
First, a woman, born in 1955, was found deceased within her residence in Akstinai village at 8:00 a.m. Later that day, at 8:20 p.m., a man, born in 1973, was also found dead in his home in Gėluva village. Further investigations revealed additional fatalities.
At 9:30 a.m., a man, born in 1979, was found deceased in his home in Šilėnai village, with no external signs of injury noted. In total, the AVPK reported that two other bodies were located within the Šiauliai district and the city area. In addition to reporting on these findings regarding the deceased people, police also issued a public safety reminder.
