The bodies of two men of unknown identity were found in Vilnius and Vygyte

Two separate incidents involving the discovery of deceased individuals were reported in Lithuania on the same day. At approximately 13:18 local time, authorities were alerted to the discovery of a man’s body on Tyzenhauzų street in Vilnius. The individual was estimated to be around 40 years of age, but his specific identity remains unknown.

Later in the day, at 20:56, a second body was found in Vievis, located within the Elektrėnų district. This second fatality was observed in an advanced stage of decomposition. Similar to the first case, the identity of this individual is currently unknown to authorities.

Following the discovery of both remains, preliminary investigations have been launched to ascertain the precise cause of death in both instances. Law enforcement agencies are treating the investigation with high priority. Officials have indicated that efforts are underway to establish the identity of both men and to determine the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
