The Vilnius District Prosecutor’s Office has announced the termination of a specific pre-trial investigation. According to Gintarė Vitkauskaitė-Šatkauskienė, a representative from the office, the decision was reached following a comprehensive evaluation and examination of the data collected during the preliminary inquiry. The investigation focused on suspicions of fraudulent financial accounting and/or organization.

Ms. Vitkauskaitė-Šatkauskienė stated that the termination was warranted because the accumulated evidence lacked sufficient objective data to substantiate the commission of a criminal act. In a response provided to Elta, she addressed procedural details, confirming that the data submitted corroborated the fact that Ž.

Pinskuvienė was questioned during the scope of this inquiry in the capacity of a special witness.
