Denys Stillerman, chief designer and co-founder of the defense-related startup “Fire Point,” announced that the development of their ballistic missile, designated “FP-9,” has reached advanced stages. According to Stillerman, all major components of the missile are complete, with the primary outstanding element being the solid-fuel engine. The team stated that ground testing of the engine was documented during recent filming sessions.
Stillerman indicated that once the engine undergoes a successful inspection, the first test flight targeting Moscow could commence shortly thereafter. “We have everything we need for the FP-9 rocket, which can reach Moscow, except for the engine,” Stillerman stated. “We will test the engine this month and hope to start test flights soon.
As soon as the test flight shows that everything is working properly, the next flight should be launched to Moscow.”
“Fire Point,” established in Kyiv in 2022, was founded by a multidisciplinary group comprising engineers, architects, and game developers. Despite the founders lacking prior experience in the defense sector, the group remained committed to realizing their objectives with the development of the ballistic missile system.
