The largest shopping center in Lithuania has been renewed: what has changed

The Hyper format “Norfos” store, located at Savanorių pr. 176, has completed a significant modernization project. This substantial renovation effort transformed the nearly 5,000 square meter facility, updating both its operational capacity and aesthetic appeal.

The overhaul involved a comprehensive replacement of almost all existing store equipment. Functionally, the revamped store is equipped with 22 self-service checkouts alongside 4 traditional cash registers, ensuring diverse shopping options for customers. Complementing the retail area are dedicated culinary and bakery sections, enhancing the overall consumer experience.

The investment in this modernization reached 2.5 million euros. This significant capital injection was directed not only toward updating the internal functionality of the store but also toward improving the building’s exterior. The facade itself received a complete update, contributing to a more visually appealing environment.

Following the extensive renovation, the facility is set to employ 56 staff members. The project aimed to create a modern retail hub that balances high operational efficiency with an attractive, contemporary interior design. The improvements ensure that the store, located at this prime address, remains a functional and appealing destination for the community.
