Ukrainian military analyst Kostyantyn Mašetsas reported that advance units belonging to the russian occupation forces are currently advancing toward Slovyansk across several distinct tactical sectors. According to Mašetsas, the 3rd General Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation is reinforcing its presence with assault infantry units following successful penetrations and the establishment of occupied positions. Mašetsas detailed that russian soldiers have secured positions on the southern bank of the Seversk River Donets.

Furthermore, they have advanced into the southeastern outskirts of Piskunivka, located east of Slovyansk. The report also specified that russian forces have taken up positions in Zakitnya, situated northeast of Piskunivka, and in Krivoye Luka, located southeast of Piskunivka. The analyst noted a further penetration into the western Rai-Oleksandrivka area, which occurred from the western side of the river.

Kostyantyn Mašetsas’s analysis provides insight into the current operational movements of the military elements. His assessment suggests a coordinated effort by the russian forces to consolidate control over key areas surrounding Slovyansk, indicating sustained military activity in the region.
