Vecvagaras’s recent coaching tenure has been marked by success. In the previous season, he took the helm as head coach of the Valmiera Glass Via team, leading them to victories in the Latvian-Estonian Championship, the Latvian Championship, and the Latvian Cup. Prior to assuming the head coaching duties, he gained valuable experience serving two seasons as an assistant coach for the same Valmiera organization.
Furthermore, he joined the latvian national team coaching staff last summer, expanding his coaching portfolio.
