Additionally, the frequency of regular bus and trolleybus services is scheduled to increase throughout the day. However, these arrangements have prompted feedback from local residents. A resident from the Romainiai district contacted the portal “Kaunas is happening,” expressing reservations regarding the adequacy of the proposed solutions for the area’s inhabitants.
The resident noted that returning to Romainiai after large gatherings and concerts has historically been challenging using public transit. They highlighted that the introduction of the ZA9 route had previously been viewed as a significant and long-awaited improvement for the district’s population. The announcement addresses the logistics surrounding the major cultural event, providing specific details for attendees regarding fare-free travel and extended late-night service coverage.
