The Lithuanian text: „Olomouc World Para Athletics Women’s Grand Prix 2026“ triumphant Lithuanian three-racer finishes

At the World Women’s Disability Athletics Grand Prix held in the Czech Republic, a Lithuanian athlete secured a bronze medal, marking a significant achievement for the nation’s contingent. Deimantė Arlauskytė, a competitive wheelchair athlete, earned the medal with a time of 45.72 seconds, setting a personal best performance. Arlauskytė’s coach, Alina Bocman, commented on the athlete’s rapid development and progress in the demanding field of wheelchair racing.

The international competition saw participation from 184 athletes representing 42 different countries, establishing a high level of global competition. The Lithuanian delegation featured six athletes competing in the wheelchair division: Olga Griškalauskaitė, Orijė Auštravičiūtė-Aleksienė, Kotryna, and Viktorija Žižmaraitės from Vilnius; Deimantė Arlauskytė from Gargždai; and Justina Germanavičiūtė from Kaunas.
