Instead, he proposed reverting to a model similar to the minister’s previous advisory council. Under this alternative framework, expert consultation would be highly specialized, focusing on specific sectoral issues. This revised structure would ensure the inclusion of key stakeholders, drawing expertise from the fields of science, private business sectors, and organized social partners.
The focus remains on creating a more targeted advisory mechanism to address the complex challenges within the food supply chain. The goal of this proposed adjustment is to ensure that future expert input is directly applicable and results in actionable policy recommendations, rather than remaining theoretical discussions.
