The prank of the youngsters ended tragically – a young man who was driving on the roof of a car in Rokiškis and fell died in the hospital

A fatal accident was reported in Rokiškis on Saturday afternoon at the Republic-Aušros street intersection. The incident involved a Mercedes Benz 320, where a passenger was killed after falling from the roof of the car. According to witness accounts, a man was standing on the roof of the vehicle, which was being driven by his friend.

When the car came to a stop, the individual reportedly fell and struck the road surface. The news coverage also referenced a separate fatal incident near Vilnius involving a 19-year-old BMW driver. In that case, witnesses reported that the victim suffered severe head injuries and was initially revived by medical personnel.

Despite immediate care, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital early Sunday morning. Additionally, reports mentioned a separate fatality involving an intoxicated driver who was taken to the hospital and later passed away on Sunday morning. The initial accident in Rokiškis resulted in the death of a passenger born in 1999.

The combination of incidents highlighted multiple instances of serious accidents involving vehicles in the region.
