V. Grybė, head of the VG Shooting Academy, expressed satisfaction with the recent shooting competition, noting that while many international guests have secured accolades, no Lithuanian shooter has yet won the Lithuanian Grand Prize. Grybė stated that the event offered ample shooting opportunities, which was particularly beneficial given the amount of organizational work involved.
Beyond the results, he expressed satisfaction with the overall improvement in the competition level, the maintenance of equipment, and the positive atmosphere for all participants. The competition in Vilnius featured 110 shooters representing numerous nations, including Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Poland, Ukraine, and Great Britain, all vying for the prestigious title and the FITASC World Cup stage prize. To date, no Lithuanian participant has managed to win the Lithuanian Grand Prize in the competitions held since 2014.
The gathering highlighted the international nature of the sport, bringing together competitors from various countries. The focus remained on the competitive spirit and the commitment to elevating the standard of shooting events. Grybė’s comments emphasized that the success of the event was measured not only by individual victories but also by the successful organization and enhancement of the competitive environment for all involved.
