The weather in the country is much warmer: the forecaster revealed how long we will enjoy the heat

A localized cyclone and its associated atmospheric fronts are currently influencing varied weather patterns. While the main cyclone is expected to dissipate rapidly, a western segment of it, situated to the east, is anticipated to persist over Lithuania and the Baltic region for some time. A positive development is the influx of warmer air originating from the east and northeast into the entirety of Lithuania.

Over Monday and Tuesday, thunderstorms are forecast for multiple locations, with activity expected to be more pronounced during the daytime hours. Monday will bring increased rainfall, particularly in the northwest and west, where afternoon thunderstorms may produce heavy rain and even hail. Tuesday is predicted to feature thunderstorms accompanied by rain only during the day.

By Wednesday, rainfall is expected to benefit the most eastern and southern districts. Beginning on Tuesday, the approach of air masses from both the west and the north towards the Baltic Sea will become more noticeable. These evolving conditions suggest a gradual shift in the regional weather pattern as the initial cyclone system moves through.
