A recent study conducted on July 9th compared the pricing structures across several major retail outlets. The analysis focused on identifying the lowest available prices for staple goods across various chains. According to the findings, the cost of the overall cheapest items varied significantly among the surveyed locations.

Specifically, the Lidl store recorded the lowest total price at 32.74 euros, while the Iki store reported the highest total price for its cheapest selection at 37.90 euros. The remaining analyzed chains—Rimi, Maxima, and Norfo—recorded prices of 34.94 euros, 35.93 euros, and 36.61 euros, respectively. The study also provided detailed comparisons within specific product categories.

Regarding dairy items, Rimi offered the cheapest option at 6.31 euros, contrasting with Iki, where the dairy product group was priced at 7.45 euros. Similarly, the meat section showed marked discrepancies. Lidl registered the lowest price point for meat products at 13.28 euros.

Conversely, the Iki store recorded the highest price for this category, listing meat products at 16.35 euros. These data points suggest variations in pricing strategies across different retail environments when consumers seek the cheapest goods.
