Vilnius Police is looking for vandals who defaced the Ukrainian flag – they are asking for public help

An investigation is currently underway at the Vilnius County Police Department’s Third Police Department regarding alleged offenses under Articles 128 and 284 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. The incident occurred in Vilnius on May 10th, at approximately 5:30 a.m., at the location of Pylimo g. 2.

Reports indicate that unidentified individuals were responsible for removing a Ukrainian flag from its holder, discarding it on the sidewalk, and subsequently trampling it. The local police department has initiated a formal inquiry into the matter and is actively seeking to identify the persons depicted in associated photographs.
