VMI: 1.9 thousand people have not yet submitted property declarations

The Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser’s Office (MIA) reported that this year, over 45,000 publicly disclosed property declarations are available for public review. In a statement, MIA Deputy Head Martynas Endrijaitis provided an overview of the filing process for the current year. Endrijaitis noted that property declarations were required from nearly 96,000 residents.

He stated that 85% of those required to file had completed this obligation by the deadline. According to the report, there are still approximately 1,900 residents who have not yet submitted their property declarations. Of the outstanding filings, the number of declarations slated for public disclosure is 94.

The MIA issued an appeal urging the remaining residents to submit their property declarations without delay. The agency emphasized the importance of timely compliance with these property filing requirements.
