Mediators characterized the current US-Iran negotiations as entering a new phase. According to the statement issued via the X network, the main goals include “Encouraging progress has been achieved, including the creation of a mechanism for further negotiations.”
Furthermore, an agreement was reached to establish a direct communication channel between the involved parties.
This measure aims to prevent misunderstandings or incidents within the strategically important Hormuz Strait. The focus remains on maintaining dialogue across all working levels to advance the discussions between Iran and the US.
