Warning: Russia is trying to hire people for sabotage acts in the popular online platform in the European Union, and also proposed a provocation in Lithuania

A study conducted by the Polish portal “Vot Tak” has uncovered evidence of a sophisticated operational network offering substantial payments for acts of disruption. According to the report, this network is allegedly soliciting agents to commit acts of sabotage targeting NATO military assets, Ukrainian governmental organizations, and critical national infrastructure. The recruitment activities, which reportedly began in various European Union countries in the spring of 2026, are being executed through deceptive means.

Journalists monitoring the situation have reported that the recruiters are masking their true intentions by presenting opportunities as benign employment. These proposals often advertise roles as “light additional work” or “simple technical tasks,” emphasizing benefits such as “regular pay” and “flexible schedules.”

In Poland, the scope of the alleged targets has been detailed by reporters. The materials reportedly offered for sabotage include vehicles bearing Ukrainian state markings, railway locomotives, mobile phone base stations, and various support centers intended for Ukrainian operations.

The findings suggest a coordinated effort to destabilize regional security through financially incentivized actions. The nature of the alleged payments—ranging between $1,500 and $3,000 US dollars—highlights the perceived value placed on disrupting the targeted assets. Authorities are reportedly examining the channels through which this recruitment is taking place to assess the full extent of the threat posed by this transnational network.
