Young Lithuanian entrepreneurs are among the European leaders: they have won three European Gen-E awards

The “Gen-E” festival, the largest european gathering for young entrepreneurs, recently concluded in Riga, Latvia. The three-day event served as a platform for innovation, drawing over 1,000 participants, including educators, business leaders, and young innovators from more than 40 european countries. During the festival, participating educational companies presented their latest concepts and business models.

The Lithuanian team, featuring “SafeClip,” achieved notable success at the event. They were recognized with the “Riga City Council Best Stand Award” for their display at the Expo. Furthermore, the team secured third place in the innovation category, culminating in the Lithuanians winning the “JA Europe Innovation of the Year” award.

The success of the “SafeClip” team was built upon a strong foundation of local competition. Led by teacher Laura Kuchalskienė and Modesto Rail, the team initially won the national Expo organized by the “Lietuvos Junior Achievement” organization. This national competition was highly competitive, featuring entries from 70 of the strongest MMB companies.

The overall participation underscored the commitment across the european continent to fostering the next generation of business leaders. The event successfully showcased diverse ideas from young entrepreneurs, reinforcing the importance of educational initiatives in developing global talent.
